Power boosters help distribute power to the facilities throughout the station.
In the event of a power crisis, power boosters can help rooms and facilities close to them remain powered. While they increase the amount of power that a player can store they also regularly (every 30 seconds) drain a small amount (25e) of energy to remain functioning.
Power boasters increase your energy rating by 20000E.
